Skytec Earns Esri Silver Partner Status
Powered by this new designation, the Skytec team and their clients will benefit from enhanced technology solutions tailored for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) needs.
Skytec, LLC, a Tennessee-based leader in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), remote sensing, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies, has recently earned the designation of being an Esri Silver Partner. Headquartered in Redwoods, California, Esri is the proprietor of the world’s most powerful mapping and spatial analytics software. Through this new partnership, Skytec clients across the globe will gain access to ESRI GIS resources for their mapping and spatial analysis needs.
“This enhanced partnership is something we’re extremely proud of,” said Skytec Chief Executive Officer, Bill Rogers. “Having access to Esri’s first-class technology is something our clients expect, yet very few vendors in our sector are able to supply with the same level of experience and expertise. In an emerging industry such as ours, everyone is looking to partner with entities who they can trust and who can deliver the best services. In 2018, we became the first UAS provider to earn ARGUS’s Platinum safety rating. That, coupled with our new partnership with Esri, allows our clients to know they’re enjoying the benefits of unrivaled technology from a company that puts best practices first.”
Founded in 2015, Skytec introduced a new tagline in 2018 — Acquire, Analyze, Inform — that speaks to the three pillars of their service offerings. By tethering industry-leading imaging and remote sensing technology to their UAS fleet, they are able to acquire robust, high-resolution data on behalf of their clients. After the Skytec team analyzes that data with leading-edge GIS resources, they are able to inform their clients’ decision-making processes.
“Since our founding, we’ve put an immense amount of emphasis on providing our clients with the best information possible, so they can make the best decisions regarding their major projects,” said Skytec Chief Technology Officer, Andy Carroll. “By teaming with Esri as a Silver Partner, we are able to produce and deliver pristine data analysis results. This brings increased confidence to our clients’ consequential decisions and workflows.”
